The area of Spring, TX formed around
the railroads with places like Wunsche Brothers (a boarding house now converted
to a restaurant). The original depot burned to the ground in the
early part of this century (as has every building ever placed on that lot,
including its sister depot which became the restaurant, "Puffabellies").
The current shopping district consists largely of structures over a century
in age that were relocated from nearby farms. Phenomena reported
in various locations includes apparitions, feelings of dread, being watched,
rocking chairs rocking on their own, owners being locked out of their storefronts
when no one is inside, lights coming on by themselves.
What we recorded on film and tape includes
orbs, mists, vortices (red and green), and a disembodied whistle.
The team witnessed a shadowy figure in the attic of the structure shown
with the mist, one team member felt a tug at his shoelaces (which were
double-knotted) and looked down to see them untied only to have the proprietor
smile and say, "Yeah, they like to do that." We caught the sound
of a keyless deadbolt locking itself when no one was present (incidentally,
when we returned we had been locked out from the inside), and caught several
moving orbs on IR video (there is a distinct difference between the appearance
of orbs and bugs on IR video- these weren't bugs).
